The semi-electric straddle stacker comes with adjustable support legs also known as straddles, which extend from the bottom on both sides of the pallet for extra support and safety during lifting. How do Semi Electric Stackers Work?

  1. Mutual Positioning:

    The operator manually pushes or pulls the semi electric stacker to position it beneath the load using ergonomic steerable handle. Once the stacker forks are properly aligned beneath the pallet, the operator is ready to engage the electric lifting system.

  2. Power Activation:

    The electric motor and hydraulic pump assembly is activated simply by pressing a button on the control panel. This activates motorised lifting, driven by AC power source or a battery, which powers the hydraulic pump to generate the necessary pressure for load elevation.

  3. Hydraulic Lifting and Lowering:

    Once the control button is pressed, the hydraulic fluid is pumped into the lifting cylinder which extends and lifts the fork upward with the load. The inching-type lifting and lowering mechanism provides precise control, allowing operators to raise loads smoothly to the desired height with fine-tuned, stepless movement. 

  4. Fork Postioning and Load Placement:

    As the forks reach the required height, the operator fine-tunes the pallet position by gently pushing or pulling the stacker, with adjustable fork width accommodating different pallet sizes. Once the load is centered and correctly placed, releasing the control button holds the forks securely at that height. After stacking, the empty forks are lowered back to ground level using the lowering control, preparing the stacker for the next task.
